The Washington Nationals are a Major League Baseball team, playing in Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Established in 1969 as the Montreal Expos, the franchise moved to Washington D.C. in 2005 to change nearly every aspect of the team. The Washington Nationals currently play within the National League in the NL East Division. Team colors consist of red, navy blue, white, and gold. The Nationals won their only NL East Division title as the Expos in 1981. Four players within the franchise are currently in the Baseball Hall of Fame. While three jersey numbers were retired with the Montreal Expos, the Nationals reinstated these jersey numbers. In 2005, former President George W. Bush restarted a tradition for U.S. Presidents to throw the ceremonial first pitch in the first game of the Washington season ?C the first time this happened since former President William Howard Taft in 1910.

The Cincinnati Bengals are a National League Football team, playing in Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1968, the Cincinnati Bengals currently play within the American Football Conference in the AFC North Division. Team colors include orange, black, and white. The Bengals have won 7 Division championships and 2 Conference championships, but have never won a Super Bowl. Two players and founder Paul Brown are currently in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. One jersey number is officially retired (54). Bengals franchise founder Paul Brown chose the exact shade of orange as his franchise predecessor, the Cleveland Browns, in order to spite Art Modell the person who purchased the Browns and terminated him.
